Terms & conditions
The rules of engagement between you, the visitor and customer, and us, the workshop.
Last revised: 12 April 2026.
Who these terms are between
These terms apply between STARCON AUTOMOTIVE CARE SDN BHD (Reg. No. 202401015432 (1567890-K)) and you, the person using this website or bringing a vehicle to our workshop.
Using the website
You may read, share and link to any page on this site for personal or non-commercial use. You may not copy substantial portions of the content for republication elsewhere without our written permission.
Estimates and quotations
Any estimate given on this website or by phone is indicative only. A binding quotation is issued in writing after we have physically inspected your vehicle. The written quotation is valid for 14 days.
Authorisation of work
No paid work begins on your vehicle until you have approved the written quotation in writing (paper signature, email reply or messaging-app confirmation). If we discover something during the work that would change the price by more than RM 100, we stop and ask before continuing.
Workmanship warranty
Repairs are covered by a 12-month or 20,000 km workmanship warranty — whichever comes first. Parts carry the manufacturer warranty supplied with them. The warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, modification by another workshop, or use of incorrect fluids after the repair.
Payment
Payment is due on collection of the vehicle. We accept cash, e-wallet, FPX and debit/credit card. Unpaid invoices accrue interest at 1.5% per month after 30 days.
Vehicle collection
We are happy to keep your vehicle on our premises for up to seven days after work is complete at no extra charge. Beyond that, a daily storage fee of RM 30 applies.
Limitation of liability
Our liability for any single repair is limited to the price paid for that repair. We carry workshop insurance — please tell us in writing if your vehicle has any pre-existing damage so it can be recorded at intake.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute that we cannot resolve in conversation will be brought before the courts of Petaling Jaya, Selangor.
